Church Planting Progress - Killyleagh

Church Planting in Killyleagh

Exciting news!! Light 'n' Life network of churches in the Dundonald (Belfast) and Dungannon areas are reaching out into the Killyleagh area of Northern Ireland. A six year lease has now been signed for the Cross Centre in Killyleagh, and refurbishment is in progress, ready for an official launch in the Autumn.

Pastor Raul Arana of the Dungannon FMC says "We are the talk of the town, as people are looking forward to the new centre. At present we hold meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month; we have been blessed by having these meetings as we are building relationship with the community and also strengthening the network between the Dundonald and Dungannon churches."

 Update January 2013

The newly, refurbished Cross Centre has been officially opened and dedicated to God by Rev. John Townley. We open to serve the community three days weekly.  Every Tuesday we pray and hold an evening service with live music and the Word of God.  Local folk attend regularly.  Throughout the day people visit the Drop In Centre tea room where they can connect with our team.  We have good opportunities to share the Gospel and pray with those who are asking questions about the Christian life.  We are building up relationships with local retailers who place daily orders for soup and snacks.  Our food store provides ’bags of blessings’ for those in need.

God is working ’little by little’ in Killyleagh for which we thank and praise Him.
