About Us

The Free Methodist Church in England was formed in 1971 by a group of people who felt a call of God on their lives to be a Bible believing Methodist people, and this could still be said of the Movement today.  We desire to be a people rooted in the authority of the whole of God's word, filled with and moving in the power of the Holy Spirit, seeking to bring the message of God's Kingdom to all generations.

True to our Wesleyan heritage our mission is to bring all people into contact with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, inviting them to receive Him as their own personal Lord and Saviour.  We encourage them in the outworking of their faith in holiness of life through the grace of God and the anointing and empowering of His Holy Spirit.

It is our hope that in spreading Scriptural holiness we will know blessing and see revival in our land.
